So Dreamy.

A: Le model-Guinevere van Seenus. Le photographer-Tim Walker. Le magazine-Vogue Italia March 2010. I thought these photos were beautiful. The oversisezed flowers, lingerie and vintage-styled room come together very well.

Morning Beauty

A: Absolutely stunning!!! The model, Lara Stone, definitely pulled off alllll of these gorgeous looks. The white eyebrows... **gasp!** Studded nylons, Chanel pearls, white hair, retro dresses and bow-tie tutu skirts win my heart over any day!! Photos by Inez & Vinoodh, who are freakin awesome! Never fail to satisfy.
Y: Lara is such a beauty! I can't believe she gets shit for being bigger than all the other twiggy models. She's a goddess! And not to mention those studded leggings, one could only dreaammm of living in those things! Great post A.

Hedi Slimane

Y: Hedi Slimane is an absolute genius. He photographs models, objects, animals, and everyday people in the most beautiful and pure ways. His previous work at Dior Homme were among the most edgy and innovative clothes for young men I think the fashion world has ever seen. Check out a very fantastic interview with Hedi for style.com: http://www.style.com/stylefile/2010/02/the-future-of-fashion-part-three-hedi-slimane/. Photos: Lara Stone, Courtney Love, and Jamie Hence. Header: Sasha Pivovarova by Hedi Slimane (possibly one of my absolute favorite photoshoots)

Alexa Chung
Y: I really like this girl. I swear I've never seen her wear anything I didn't wanna rip right off her back. For the Elle Style Awards she looked terrific in this little Chanel number. This is definitely a Y dress except I would have loved to seen it paired with a patent leather bootie (YSL perhaps!) but that's just me.
Jessica Stam for Aldo

Y: Awww I've never seen this! It's soo cute! Love Jessica Stam! Love the genius Terry Richardson and yes I too adore that metallic jacket. MINE!

Y's Best of Part Une

Y: My best of parts 1 and 2 will consist of my favorite moments of New York Fashion Week so far. I can see myself in each of these looks. Too many words to describe them, so I'll let the beautiful pieces speak for themselves. Maybe if I post them, I will wake up with those furry shorts, a studded shirt, a bucket hat, and that ridiculous TOO GOOD for words Marc by Marc Jacobs jean dress in my closet. A girl can dream. Anna Sui F/RW 2010

Y: Anna Sui is my fashion roots. The first designer I ever fell in love with and possibly the reason I am the person I am today. I know this post should be about her latest show (which is amazing like always) but I always feel implied to mention just how much this woman means to me. Now to the clothes: impeccable, layers after layers of textures and patterns and leather and furs. She designs clothes for Anita Pallenberg backstage at a Rolling Stones concert circa 1969. Never a dull moment, and that's what fashion should be, no?
My favorite Anna Sui quote: "When in doubt, put on the Clash"

Yowzaaa.

A: Lady Chic? I want this yellow hair. Those dark brows. That make-up. The couture. !!!!
Y: Gagaloo! She is fantastic and looks fantastic. Something only someone on the front lines of fashion like Gaga can pull off. And yes, those dark brows and yellow hair are it for me! Fantastic Armani Prive and amazing styling by the one and only Nicola Formichetti.

Alice + Olivia

Y: Wow! My inner feather obsessed self is screaming. How fantastic are these looks? I don't even know where to begin! Those shoulders are unbelievable with those harems, that dress (or possibly skirt) out of those feathers is stunning I'd live the rest of my life in it, and lastly that dress with the feather shoulders and leather, I mean come on. My only suggestion would be to lose the hat. I get it, but it just isn't working to benefit the look. Otherwise, fashion at its finest.
A: Oh myyy!! I would absolutely love love love to have that feathered shoulder top and leather skirt in my closet. The black on black look is always a classic. I do definitely agree about losing the hat. It does nothing for me.
Calling all the fellas!
